best ice cream shops

We like home made ice cream no chains. Anything like that there?

best ice cream shops

Try Dumser%26#39;s Dairyland-various locations THROUGHOUT OC. It is a small chain within Ocean City, they make excellent shakes, and there ice cream is made in-store. Highly recommended!!!

Ice Cream Castle-can%26#39;t remember where it is, but they serve there ice cream in a sand bucket and you eat it with a shovel.

Marble Slab Creamery-never been there but it is on the north end on the boardwalk, very similar to Cold Stone Creamery, but Marble Slab is not a chain.

I know there is more homemade ice-cream places but I just can%26#39;t remember them all, these were the ones that came off the top of my head.

Hope this helps!

Thankx

Love Kohr Bro. on the boardwalk at the inlet. I love the consistency of their soft serve, but it%26#39;s a chain, sorry!

I love Kohr Bro. But it is custard technically and rare. They have it at the Jersey shore too, but I break my no chain for them because it is custard and we don%26#39;t have custard in NYC. Thanks for letitng me know!

I love Kohr Bros. too!! But, there a chain.

Try Beach Moose Ice Cream Parlor off of Coastal Hwy at Philadelphia Ave { I think}

There is none better than Dumsers. There are several locations, but the location up on 120th makes the ice cream on site. The place is busy during the summer, mainly because the ice cream is that good. Good breakfast and home style family dinners as well.

I can%26#39;t remember the name of the place, but it is located either under a hotel or a building and you have to walk downstairs to get to it. It is hard ice cream, and it%26#39;s great. I had a coconut with almond cone and haven%26#39;t found anything even remotely close to it anywhere.

I think I know where you mean. It%26#39;s around 13th st and also a coffee shop I do believe.

I think it starts w/ a E ???

Very good ice cream and ice cream treats
