Hotel/motel for overnight before fishing

I%26#39;m going fishing out of the Ocean City Fishing Center on Monday, Aug. 13th.

Does anyone know of a good, clean, inexpensive place to stay nearby?

Comfort Suites and the Francis Scott Key Motel are both decent and located within a half mile of the Ocean City Fishing center in West Ocean City. Whatever you do do not stay at The Alamo!!! You will be better off just sleeping in your car.

If you don%26#39;t mind me asking, what%26#39;s the name of the boat you are going out on? I%26#39;m heading out on Fish Bonz on Saturday which is also docked at the Ocean City Fishing Center.

I heard about The Oceanic, but the reviews on TA vary widely from good to horrible.

jk,stay at the sea hawk motel on 124th street,very clean and very low rates.wonderful place.

124th St. is no where near the Ocean City Fishing Center which is located across the Rt. 50 bridge in West Ocean City.

No point in staying up on the North side unless you mind the drive, I am up here and travel down there (sunset, OC fishing center) every few days. Drive can really vary on the day and time, but coming back you are sure to hit some traffic in the late afternoon. Try the Francis Scott key, there are plenty of places to eat and grab something in the morning.

I just reread my original reply and it sounds like I%26#39;m going out on Fish Bonz this Saturday. Actually, it%26#39;s that Saturday before you, August 11th. The White Marlin Open is August 6th thru 10th. I hope those guys don%26#39;t catch everything and leave nothing for us!
