Where to Go Crabbing ??

Anyone know of any hot-spots to go crabbing from a pier? I don%26#39;t have a specific destination in mind, so anywhere in MD is fine.

I%26#39;m planning on doing a quick weekend trip to include crabbing and dinner at an All-You-Can-Eat Crab Shack. So if you can think of those two things nearby each other, it would be perfect.

years ago I could go down near Talbot st and bayside and crab of a pier but you might want to scope it out before you head down there to crab to make sure it is still okay.

If you are going to go crabbing with the idea of catching any it is best to be out before the sunrise. As the day goes on your chances of catching any goes down. I do not know of any hot spots off a pier, we have a small boat we take out when we try. Crabbing off a pier with hand lines would take patience. All you can eat crabs...I would say Captins Galley in West Ocean City. We went there last weekend and they were heavy with good flavor. Have fun!

Higgins is a good spot for all-you-can-eat. There are others you could try that have a little of everything
