Well, wish me luck....I am off to OC this Sunday (7-8-07)....I have read all the reviews on my motel (Eden Roc)...fingers crossed..this is the first time I have stayed here....packing the Hazmat outfit just in case ;).....I have stayed over the last 9 years at the Sahara, Ocean Mecca, Sandy Hill, French Quarter, and Seabonay....some were nice and two were real dives. I enjoy reading the posts from all of you guys that know OC like the back of your hand. I have learned allot. I will post when I return with my review of the week. Till then...... :)

We overnighted at the Eden Roc a few years ago. The room was clean and no major issues except for parking! Anything larger than a Geo Metro can be an adventure! Their parking area is very cramped. How did you fare at the Sahara? We read all kind of awful posts about it?

The Sahara Motel?...honestly, we never had any issues with it. We stayed there three different times. I too have read all the terrible reviews of that place and have always wondered if we just got lucky with our room or what? lol I still wouldn%26#39;t be afraid to book there personally. Thanks for your input on the Eden Roc! We have an Intrepid, so hopefully we will be able to cram it in a parking spot ;) I know what ya mean about lousy parking lots some of these hotels have. ;)
