PGN Crab House

Looking to add a new restaurant or two to our rotation in OC. Never been to PGN. Most of the reviews in the dining section are pretty old. Anyone have any experiences there from last summer or this year?

I am interested for a reply to this one also. There are two negative reviews for Bahama Mama%26#39;s that were reciently posted. We liked it there last year. We were at the beach in June and had crabs from a hole in the wall place right before the northern Higgin%26#39;s location. They were good but only had medium sized crabs. Is that due to the time of year?

I just ate at PGN a couple weeks ago and it was excellent as it always has been. They have some of the best crabs in OC and their fried chicken was also very tasty.

Ahhh, don%26#39;t want to sound like a tourist, on the other hand that%26#39;s what we will be! :O) Anyway, does PGN stand for something, or is that tne real name of the restaurant?

captins galley in west oc has good crabs and a nice view of the harbor. i would stay away from higgins.

Ahhhhh, I%26#39;m still not sure what PGC means. Anyone willing to share?
