So, lucky us, we find that a family member own a small 2nd home n Deal Island, and are being gracious enough to allow us to use it for a week in July...we are very grateful, however, my in-laws are acting as the go between as they are going too, and I can%26#39;t get much info from anyone about what it is like there. I have tried to chrck out websites, but they are all pretty vague. I know it is small, and that you have to drive at least 20 minetes to even a gas station, please help! I am a planner, and I am unable to plan, and it is already upsetting my vacation :%26gt;). Please if you have any info as to places to eat, what I am near, grocery stores, etc, I would really appreciate it. I am not even too sure waht we are sorta near, except a place called Princess Anne and Salisbury that seems to be maybe an hour away pr something eeeekkkkk!!!! Thanks so much!!!
Deal Island, Help Please!!!!
We live in Salisbury and Deal Island is about 40 minutes from Salisbury. Nice restaurants and shopping in Salisbury - Salisbury Mall has Hollister, Macy%26#39;s, Sears, Limited 2, etc. Take plenty of bug spray as Deal Island is the bug capital!!!! Look into Woodland Ferry and trips to Smith Island and Tangier Island - nice day trips.
Princess Anne is a small college town - not much but some grocery stores.
Look into Ocean City, Md - nice beach resort with rides, golfing ,etc.
Nice dining and beaches. approx 1 hour from Deal Island. Can take Rt 113 or Rt 50 to OC
