Has anyone been to this hotel? I%26#39;m thinking of booking this hotel for a weekend in August. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Sea Scape Hotel on 1503 Boardwalk
I%26#39;ve been going to OC for 45 years and typically stay at older motels. Two ';middle aged'; gals and I stayed there about 3 years ago. It was OK for us for a 3 day get away. The rooms were very typical older shore type rooms. The bathroom was very old and the carpet was worn - but it was what we expected for the price. We were there for the beach and bars - not a luxury room - just a place to put our heads for a few hours on clean sheets. The pool was was warm on the west side of the hotel. Just from observation they do not put up with loud groups and partying, other postings have talked about that.
If you want a closer place to all the action on 1st and Boardwalk - is Rideau Motel, very similar type motel, but the rooms are bigger and the balconeys on ocean front rooms are right over the boardwalk. Things bookup quickly - so dont delay no matter where you stay!

Ocean Meca or Best Western Flagshipare also okay hotels on the boardwalk. I have no knowledge to pass on about Sea Scape. But I just booked for August and many place are booked so you might want to hurry.
