hotel confusion

I am wondering about Castle in the Sand. Has any one stayed there recently? I read the reviews but wondered if there are other opinions. It looks at bit run down and I am wondering if the pool is heated. We booked the Hilton but this price is far more reasonable. I would book the room with 2 quuen beds and a balcony. Please let me know....the reviews seemed favorable but I would appreciate more insight. Thanks again!!!

I have never stayed there, but it seems like a nice place. I know of a couple of people who have stayed there and have been happy with it.

I stayed there a year or so ago - Loved it - We actually stayed in one of the cottages, but took a tour and peeked in the rooms - they were far from run down from the ones we saw - Really clean and comfy, large size, and the staff were extremely friendly. I don%26#39;t think that the pool was heated, I can%26#39;t recall. The only complaint we had was that the cottages are located by the pool, and the diving board is very loud, which made it tough to sleep in in the AM - but that was a minor inconvenience, not enough to stop me from staying there again.

How was the pool ambiance, enough chaise lounges, resort feeling, hot tub? Do they provide beach chairs? Thanks again for the help....it%26#39;s a big decision!!! I have a picky family!

The pool was quiet when I was there - I don%26#39;t think they had a hot tub (or I don%26#39;t recall one) - but the pool was a good size, and yes, they provide beach chairs.
