Underage drinking

Not too long ago someone had posted a question about underage drinking. Most people didn%26#39;t say it was ';okay'; to do it but did say if they were going to, to keep it on the down low.

I just read a ';review'; of the Waves. The poster is p!ss because he got busted for his own stupidity. Here%26#39;s the post..................

My age: 18-24

Traveling group: Friends

My visit was for: Quality time with friends

3 of my guy friends, myself, and a few of our girlfriends were planning our trip down to senior week in Ocean City, MD. Of course by the time we got around to it the places were slim pickens so my friends drove down and went to a couple different placed to find a place. They found a place called THE WAVES which was very ';teenage friendly'; and ';welcomed 2007 grads';, sounds to good to be true? Thats because it is...

we arrived on a friday, and everything was going great, i mean the place was dirty on arrival, floor was stick, there was stuff in the dresser drawers that was sticky...Saterday roll%26#39;s around everything is going good. 3 AM, sunday morning the security comes in tells us we can eather get all of the alc. out and dump it ( apprx. 20 cases and 8 or 9 bottles ) or we could let them call the cops and get underages, evicted, etc... they also threated my 17 y/o girlfriend that she could go to jail for 30 days (which is a lie and i knew it). So after dumping it all they told us they were going to be nice and let us leave the following day at 11 sinse we couldn%26#39;t drive, and that we would be losing out deposit, and all this other bull. Funny thing though, the blinds on the slider were all cut at the top so they wouldn%26#39;t stay up so there was know way to really cover the door, and the SG%26#39;s told us that they saw beer cans on the counter the night before and that they planned on busting us for those... this place has the biggest scam setup ever, the morning we were leaving we came to find out that 3 out of the 4 groups that came there for senior week, got evicted the same night as us...

I almost forgot my favorite part of the story... I went to the neighbors just to let them know, that we were down there for the week, and that if were to loud just to let us know, and I didn%26#39;t say anything bout drinking to them... turns out the person next door was the wife of the security guard that busted us...

.................... Well no chit sherlock. I don%26#39;t blame the hotel for putting you out. 20 cases of beer and 8 or 9 bottles? That%26#39;s not low key. This poster was begging to get busted.

The main reason I posted this is for the few folks that will be partaking in underage drinking. Just know that if you do get busted you will go thru the same thing this kid went thru. Or possibly worse.. a night in the clink. If you must do it. At least do it a little smarter then poster. And if you do get busted, don%26#39;t blame the place you%26#39;re staying and write a negative review.

Underage drinking

*raises hand* I was the one who posted that other thread here a while back before it was deleted.. and I have to agree with you. This kid is outrageously stupid. If you%26#39;re going for senior week especially in a place that welcoms grads and partakes in senior week, there WILL be extra security, no doubt. Stupid kid.

I don%26#39;t see a problem with underage drinking to a certain extent. If your 18 and want a few beers, I don%26#39;t see the problem as long as you%26#39;re not going out driving or ruining OTHER people%26#39;s vacations. If you%26#39;re younger than that then that%26#39;s just out of the question. Oh well, maybe he will reflect and learn from this experience. Keep it low key.
