HOliday inn Express at Russell Street?? Taxi from BWI also

We are staying at the Holiday inn express, near the stadium, is this a good location? Anything really bad about the hotel? we are there for 2 nights

We are also thinking to take a cab to the hotel from the airport as there is free shuttle to the hospital we are going to. How much is a cab ride from the airport to the holiday in express ?

Actually, it%26#39;s a pretty nasty location. The hotel itself is fairly new (it%26#39;s a remodel of another place that used to be there) and it gets some pretty decent reviews here on Tripadvisor.

But the neighborhood is grimy and industrial, on a major commuter thouroughfare with some bridge construction going on.

Taxi from the airport would run about $23 per the BWI airport web site.

It is a truly awful location.

I agree the neighborhood is terrible! BUT....the location is excellent to walk to and from both stadiums AND the hotel is very nice. Stayed there last year for a nighttime Ravens game and really enjoyed it. There is a small pool out back and a nice fitness room. Rooms were very clean and well done. Service was great.

This is part of Camden Industrial Park. Many warehouses... and bus station is behind it. There is a ton of construction in front where they are working on the Russell Street overpasses. Right now there is a temporary sign in front of the hotel saying ';hotel entrance'; to help people find the entrance through all of the orange construction barriers. It is in very close walking distance to Camden Yards and Ravens Stadium.
