Are there beaches at St. Michaels?

Is there a place to go in the water and or lay out?

Are there beaches at St. Michaels?

St. Michaels is a harbor town--no beach. For just laying out in the sun, about the best you can hope for is a B%26amp;B or hotel on or close to the water with a deck and/or pool.--plenty of those to be found.

The same goes for most of the towns on the Eastern Shore of the bay and its tributaries.

My friend and I went to St. Michael%26#39;s last weekend and sailed on the Lucky Dog catamaran. It sails from the Hyatt in Cambridge. It was a hot day but there was a breeze out on the water and we laid out on the trampoline part of the boat. It was so relaxing. It is a 2 hour cruise and the one we went on was at 12:30. I think they also have a 10:00 a.m. and a 3:00. The captain and mate we very nice and laid back. It%26#39;s not a historical cruise but it is great for getting sun out on the water.

At this point in the summer you would not want to swim in the waters near St. Michaels as they are filled with stinging jelly fish. This is a common affliction for most of the bay and its tributaries during the summer months.
