Pizza in OC

Is there anything that comes close to Grotto style or Mac and Manco%26#39;s from NJ?

I don%26#39;t know about Grotto ';style,'; but we%26#39;re in North O.C. and when we%26#39;ve got a craving for Grotto, we simply drive less than five miles to their South Bethany location.

What is ';Grotto'; style?

I%26#39;ve been a Grotto Pizza fan for 30+ years but have never heard of a generic pizza term ';Grotto style'; in the way you might hear ';Chicago style.'; Thinking I might be missing something, I tried out a Google search, which didn%26#39;t return anything pizza-related on the term ';Grotto style.';

So I%26#39;m only assuming the OP wants something that looks and tastes like the pizza from the Delaware-based Grotto Pizza chain, hence the suggestion for the Grotto Pizza location just a few minutes from O.C.

Mack and Manco%26#39;s, incidentally, is a pizza institution in ';the other'; Ocean City (N.J.)

Mink,

Grotto is a great pizza place we have in in Northeastern PA. They have several locations around here...and at least one that I saw in Delaware. Good stuff!!

Grotto%26#39;s pizza in Wilks-Barre or Harvey%26#39; Lake in Pa. If that%26#39;s the style then you see many pizza joints that serve that style of pizza. The Dough Roller (many location in OC) or Anthony%26#39;s I mention in a above post will be to your liking.

What is ';grotto'; style? Do you mean like the chain of restaurants in the Delaware area? Is grotto style something like chicago style?

In case there%26#39;s still any confusion--the Grotto Pizza locations in northeastern Pennsylvania are the same chain as the ones in Delaware. (They are, in fact, their only locations outside of Delaware.)

Grotto Pizza started at Harvey%26#39;s Lake, PA. at the end of the lake with the grotto. It is very thin crust pizza with great cheese

I think Ponzettis has the best pizza in OC!!!
