Fells point Pub Crawl???

Hi...I am going to be in Baltimore for the weekend end of July. A group of friends and I would like to hit the bars/pubs in fells point. We will be exploring this section after a 7pm baseball game. I have tried searching for sites that might have a general itinerary to go by but have been unsucessful :-(

Anyone have any suggestions? I have a feeling it will be that we just hop off the water taxi and hit them street by street but I also think we would miss a good pub that way.

Thanks in advance for your info!

Fells point Pub Crawl???

Try this site. www.fellspoint.us/maps.html. It has a map of the area and listings of bars, restaurants, shopping ect... If you take the water taxi it docks at the intersection of Thames and Broadway. Generally speaking these two streets are where the bulk of bars are located so you can map out your pub crawl.

Fells point Pub Crawl???

all bars on thames are good, only go about four blocks north on broadway. also check on times water taxi stops running at night

here%26#39;s another Fells Point Guide that lists bars with more info than the Fellspoint.us site:

i work in fells piont and while they are great hole in the wall type bars, for a visit i would go to power plant live. you can walk to it from the yard, about 7 blocks, and there are about 7 bars in one so there is something for everyone.

if you do insist on fells, go to duda%26#39;s, one eyed mikes

or duclaw brewery or horse you came in on. any of those little bars are fun but depends on what you like. if you like dance music/big bars go to power plant live or bay cafe and canton.

if you like little bars with locals and bar food hit up fells.

one eyed mikes is worth seeing - about a million bottles of grand mariner line the walls. pretty cool and great food by the way.

Thank you very much for all the info!

We will most likely be hitting up Power Plant Live on Friday night after dinner so saturday was all about the holes in the wall..lol we like that crowd/setting better at times. more meeting people.

Thanks for the websites I will be heading there now...

Have a good one...happy %26amp; safe travels!

would recommend the Cat%26#39;s Eye Pub in Fells Point........very old place in the neighborhood and usually very good music on the weekends.........don%26#39;t be put off by a tight crowd by the door, they have a back room/bar that%26#39;s usually less crowded if it%26#39;s a problem.....have fun!

Fell%26#39;s Point has many decent pubs, it depends if you seek atmosphere, dining or beer selection. Here are some of my favorites - all about a few minutes walk from each other:

Cat鈥檚 Eye Pub

1730 Thames Street

Phone: 410-276-9866

DuClaw Brewing Company

901 S. Bond Street @ Thames Street

Phone: 410-563-3400

Excellent craft beer/food

John Steven, Ltd.

1800 Thames Street @ S. Ann Street

Phone: 410-327-0489

Excellent seafood - regional beers

Max鈥檚 On Broadway

737 S. Broadway

Phone: 410-675-6247

Wharf Rat

801 S. Ann Street

Phone: 410-276-9034

Also a brewpub - another location near Camden Yards

I would also check the website www.beeradvocate.com

Don%26#39;t forget to check out Leadbetter%26#39;s, right on Thames Street, just a couple doors down from the Admiral%26#39;s Cup. Usually a chill live band and they have Grolsch on tap now!
