hey all...
I need some help. I am flying into Baltimore to see a game and want to stay in the area. I dont want to rent a car and have no problem walking to to the park...i was just trying to avoid staying right in Inner Harbor since all the hotels are so expensive! i dont mind 30 minute/walk but not really more than that. Are there any hotels right outside of the Inner Harbor area to stay? I%26#39;m trying to stay on a budget and $250/night to stay at a Holiday Inn kinda stinks....
any insider info you can give me?
I%26#39;d really appreciate it!
thank you!
hotels right outside of Inner Harbor?
Try the Mount Vernon Inn and Tremont Suites. They are in the ';Harbor area'; but not right in the middle of the action. Unfortunately, the quality goes downhill significantly from there. Then next best option are the hotels by the airport. They may seem far away, but they are close to the light rail system that would deliver you directly to the stadium.
Try the hotels at Arundel Mills....Hanover, MD.

Try the mt. vernon hotel on franklin st. Nothing fancy but the neighborhood is safe and the rooms are around $100 per night.
stay in fells point - admiral inn and water taxi will take you within 3 blocks of the yard.
Try staying at the Days Inn Inner Harbor. I don%26#39;t know where it is, but I am going to a game in August and that is the hotel were staying at. Were doing something like you too. Were driving up to the game, and after the game were going to stay in the area over night. Days Inn is less than $250. It%26#39;s right near the action too.
Try the Holiday Inn Express on Russell St. Close to stadium but in an industrial area with absolutley no views of anyhting other than old buildings , the bus station and gas stations. However, the hotel is pretty new, they have a shuttle that will take you where you need to go and others have said it was really a good deal and a nice hotel.
