family dining

My wife myself and 2 children(7%26amp;11) are heading to oc next week can anyone recommend good family dining at a reasonable price looking for local stuf off the beach???????????

family dining

JR Ribs, Dough Roller --many locations

Anthony%26#39;s (17th st) great for lunch

I%26#39;m sure others will post their favorites.

For all you can eat places try:

Embers, Halls, Phillips

OC is filled with restaurants. Dumsers Dairyland on 122nd has a wide ranging menu and makes their ice cream on site. The best bet is to pick up one of the local papers, Beachcomber, Coconut Times, etc and see what you are in the mood for.

Remember, you will get what you pay for. For example, the town is full of All You Can Eat (AUCE) buffets, some are as cheap as $9.99 (Paul Revere/Jonah %26amp; the Whale), and some are more expensive $25 (Embers/Bonfire).

If you have a specific type of food you are looking for, feel free to post again.

not looking for any specific food just trying to stay out of the tourist traps thanks for your help

gotta hit Layton%26#39;s for breakfast! Any place with chipped, creamed beef on toast , on the menu is worth the price of admission!!! Not a big place so be ready to wait sometimes! There are chain restaurants like Outback and Appleby%26#39;s in west OC. Have fun!
