Hello,
I%26#39;m going to be coming to Ocean City probably the first weekend of October. Can somebody give me advice on what to do, and where to eat at. Also, has anyone stayed at the Flamingo, Cabana Motel, Sun %26#39;n Fun, or the Spinnaker. If you have stayed at these places, can you please tell me your experience, because I don%26#39;t want to stay in a roach hotel. Any other hotel recommendations are welcome. Thanks a lot.

Ocean City in October
We stayed at the Flamingo 2 times. The first time in the tower bldg., which was very nice! The motel on the other hand was not nearly as good! Ok when the surrounding rooms were empty, but we had the neighbors from hell on our last nights there last Sept. Oc is beautiful at that time of year, and if fishing is your thing, some of the action is just getting started! I have no experience with the other motels you asked about, but if you can book the tower bldg. at the Flamingo, it is very nice! Have fun!
We go to OC every October, near the end of the month. Most things should be open as far a restaurants and shops, some that have multiple locations will only have select shops open.
We love fries at Thrashers and donuts from the Fractured Prune. Doughrollers has great breakfasts, served all day. Yokozuna Sushi restaurant is a real gem in a time-worn shopping center on 114th street. Don%26#39;t let the exterior fool you, it isn%26#39;t cheap, but it won%26#39;t break your budget either.
The weather should still be nice enough, but if you get rain, indoor mini-golf on 68th street is always good times.
We always stay at Dunes Manor on 28th. The location is great at the end of the Boardwalk and all of the rooms are Ocean Front. The prices are reasonable. They have an evening sing-along with a piano player in the lobby, which we avoid, but if you%26#39;re into that time of thing . . . .
A side trip to Assateague for some hiking and pony-spotting is also a nice choice.
