Brief food reviews from OC last week 7/21-28

We were a party of 9 most nights and love the different types of resturants in Ocean City or I should say Pittsburgh on the shore.

Sat: Phillip%26#39;s Crab House - Mostly good, crab saute, crab cakes and crab soup were all good. Blue crabs and snow crab legs were poor at best. Overall a good experience. Will never crack crabs here again though

Sun. and Tues: Bahama Mamas. Excellent crabs, crab soup and sandwiches. Good service as well.

Mon: Nick%26#39;s- Really good Ribs, BBQ Chicken and Prime Rib

Wed: Castaway%26#39;s -awful. Will write a review later. No one there was on the same page.

Thurs: 3 Brothers Pizza- We don%26#39;t have these in Pittsburgh and I have to say it is quite good.

Fri: BJ%26#39;s---really good bar food at a good price.

This was the first year we went to BJ%26#39;s and Castaway%26#39;s. I can see going back to BJ%26#39;s again not Castaway%26#39;s.

One place we just don%26#39;t get is The Green Turtle. We stay across the street and it is always packed. We ate there last year and found the food below average. It is amazing how a T-Shirt can sell a sandwich.

I agree that the Phillips crabs are not very good! The buffet is still very good, but I think the Bonfire is as good or better and Crab Alley has awesome AYCE crabs!!
