Hotel In September

Hello!

I%26#39;m looking for a hotel (preferably oceanfront) to stay in late September. It%26#39;ll be me my husband our 4 year old and our golden retreiver. I%26#39;d like to stay close to the boardwalk (near the amusement park) and of course one that accepts pets and is family friendly.

Since this is after labor day, can anyone confirm if they still operate the amusement park (I forgot the name of it) during the week?

Hotel In September

The closest pet friendly hotel that I can think of is The Barefoot Mailman around 35th St. Boardwalk starts on 27th St. The Barefoot Mailman is not ocean front but it is ocean block meaning you don%26#39;t have to cross the major road running the length of OC.

the rides are called trimpers amusements.yes they are still running them in sept.and the board walk is also still open.sunfest is in also in sept.its the 20 thru the 23rd

We have stayed at both the Fenwick Inn (not oceanfront) and the Clarion (oceanfront) when visiting with our dog and cat. The Clarion is on 101st street so its no where near the boardwalk. The Fenwick is across the street but if you get a higher floor you see the ocean very well(no balcony or window to open). It is also way off the boardwalk though.

I always use petswelcome.com and search by state and then city for a list of pet friendly accomodations. Also doing a google search for pet friendly hotels should help.

Depending on your timing, with Bike week and Sunfest, finding any rooms can be tough in mid to late Sept! We don%26#39;t travel with our dog so that%26#39;s not a problem, but don%26#39;t be surprised if finding a place isn%26#39;t complicated!
